Shipping & Delivery Policy

1. Summary

• Mastheads is an online software service. Nothing physical is shipped.
• There are no shipping charges, no courier and no delivery address to give.
• Everything is delivered online, through your Mastheads account at dash.mastheads.app.
• An article reaches your own website only when you publish it, or when you have switched on automatic publishing.

2. What you are buying

Mastheads writes source-backed articles for your website. A plan is a subscription to that service, which you use online through your account. What each plan includes is listed on our Pricing page.

There is nothing to download or install. You sign in from a web browser.

3. When your access starts

Signing up creates your account and starts a free trial of 10 articles over 7 days. No payment method is collected. The trial ends on its own after 7 days, or when its 10 articles are used. It never turns into a paid plan by itself.

If you choose a paid plan, the plan is added to the same account once your payment goes through. You keep the same account, with the same articles, settings and connected sites.

4. How your articles are delivered

Each article is delivered into your account as soon as it is written. With Research on, which is the default, it includes the sources used to write it. It also records what our desks checked, including any check that failed.

When a single article you asked for is finished, we tell you in your account and by email. For a larger run, one notice in your account says what was written and what was not.

Notices about your trial and your plan appear in your account and arrive by email.

5. Publishing to your website

You can connect your own website and publish to it from your account. Mastheads publishes to WordPress.org, WordPress.com, Ghost, Webflow, Shopify, HubSpot and GoHighLevel.

Each article goes up as a normal post on your own site, so your readers never leave it. On WordPress, publishing the same article again updates the post in place. On the other platforms, publishing the same article again creates a new copy. The publish panel tells you whether it will update the post or create a new copy.

By default every article waits as a draft for you to review and publish. Automatic publishing is off until you turn it on. It is only available to accounts we have enabled for it. Our Automatic Publishing Terms explain how it works.

6. Copying and exporting

You don't need a connected site to use your articles. From the article menu, you can copy an article with its headings and links preserved, or copy it as Markdown. You can also export articles as Markdown or HTML.

To get everything at once, go to Settings, then Account, then “Download everything”. Mastheads prepares an archive of your account with every article, its images and its sources. It gives you a download link that works for a limited time.

7. Mastheads Studio

Mastheads Studio is our service arm for websites, SEO, AEO and GEO, AI citations, reels and monthly care. It is quoted per project and is not a Mastheads plan. Its work is delivered online too, and nothing physical is shipped.

8. If something does not arrive

Write to hello@mastheads.app and tell us what you expected to see. For anything about a payment, write to billing@mastheads.app. A real person answers, usually within one business day.

If the service fails on our side for more than 7 calendar days in a row, we make it right, normally by adding credits for the affected days. Section 7 of our Refund & Cancellation Policy has the details.

9. Cancellation and refunds
