Editing drafts

Edit any draft before it ships - title, intro, body, conclusion, metadata, and byline.

A draft isn't final until you say so. Open any draft in the dashboard and edit it before it ships. Nothing about a draft is locked - it's a starting point, not a finished product.

What you can change

Everything is editable: title, intro, body, conclusion, metadata, and the byline it publishes under. Change one line, tighten a paragraph, or rewrite the whole thing - the draft only ships once you're satisfied with it.

It's still your editorial work

An article you review and edit is your own editorial work. You read it, you shaped it, and you approved it before it went out under your name - not something that just happened to you.

Writing one yourself

You don't have to start from a draft at all - you can write an article from scratch in the editor, no newsroom draft involved. Self-written articles like this are free, and they're non-refundable.
